The LifePrep Program
LifePrep partners with mesivtas to tailor and administer their general-studies program. We provide a relevant, hashkafically sound, life-skills-based education — taught by our high-caliber instructors, whom we recruit, train, and support. This enables LifePrep to successfully execute and track its mission.
Instructors
LifePrep's curriculum draws high-caliber instructors — from seasoned professionals and educators to Rebbeim and Rabbanim — who go "beyond the book," using real-world experience to bring lessons to life and spark student enthusiasm.
Courses are taught by those living what they teach: paramedics and health professionals for Your Body, Your Health, Your Life; mayors, elected officials, and attorneys for Government & Law; accountants, financial advisors, and business owners for Financial Literacy & Budgeting; and Rebbeim and Rabbanim for Public Speaking, Jewish History, and The Science Behind the Halacha.
Implementation
LifePrep works closely with the hanhalah to design a program tailored to the yeshiva’s schedule, staffing, and course needs. Once the plan is set, we build and implement it—monitoring and staying involved throughout the year, supporting the principal, coordinating with instructors, and assisting with orientation, PTA meetings, grading, and report cards.
By using modular lessons, instructors cover core material efficiently, opening time for real-life skills. When students feel the learning is relevant and see instructors who have “made it” in their fields, they arrive in class with a more positive mindset—resulting in less student apathy, reduced teacher frustration, and fewer discipline problems.
